Ultraviolet radiation from the sun activates the photocatalytic properties of Ecobas, transforming airborne pollutants into nitrates that can be naturally absorbed as fertilizer by surrounding vegetation, such as plants and trees.

The effectiveness of Ecobas is directly related to the level of sunlight exposure it receives. The greater the intensity of ultraviolet radiation, the greater its capacity to purify the air.
